He gained fame as a contestant on season 15 of The Voice.  Before Fame He began singing at his church at age 10, growing up in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He joined a band in high school. In 2017, he dropped out of college to take a job with General Motors to support his family. He was offered an audition with The Voice the following year.  Trivia In 2019, he released his debut single, "Giving You Up," followed by the single "Take You Up On It." In May of 2020, he signed a writing deal with SonyATV Music Publishing and was signed to an artist deal with Sony Music Nashville in June of that year.
