Writer and manga artist known primarily for his artwork contributions in the Japanese comic books Tomie, Gyo and Uzumaki. His comic book Tomie and some of his other works have been adapted for film and television.  Before Fame He began writing and drawing comics as a hobby while working as a dental technician in the 1980s. In 1987, he created a short story named Gekkan Halloween, which was later renamed to Tomie. Trivia He is credited for being a collaborator for the video/motion picture game Silent Hills.
