Fares Fares was born on April 29, 1973, in Beirut, Lebanon. He is a Lebanese-Swedish actor. Fares grew up in Sweden after his family fled the Lebanese Civil War. He is fluent in Arabic, Swedish, and English. Fares made his acting debut in the Swedish film "Jalla! Jalla!" in 2000. He gained international recognition for his role as Sergeant Jamal Awar in the Danish film "Brothers" in 2004.
