Cannavaro began his career at Napoli, making his debut in 1992. He later played for Parma, where he achieved great success, winning the UEFA Cup in 1999 and 2002. In 2002, he joined Inter Milan, but his time there was short-lived, as he moved to Juventus the following year. At Juventus, Cannavaro won two Serie A titles before joining Real Madrid in 2006.
